Mindfulness Meditation Classes

Mindfulness Meditation Classes

Mindfulness Meditation Classes are gentle, guided sessions where you learn how to be present with your life instead of swept away by worry. You don't need any experience, special posture, or spiritual background-just a willingness to pause for a little while.

Drawing on more than two decades in nursing and meditation coaching, we teach mindfulness in simple, practical ways. You'll experiment with short practices like noticing the breath, feeling your feet on the floor, or observing thoughts the way you might watch clouds move across the sky. No pressure to "empty your mind"-the goal is to relate to your thoughts differently.

These classes are especially helpful if you struggle with anxiety, racing thoughts, or difficulty focusing. Over time, students often notice they can catch spirals earlier, respond instead of react, and return to a sense of steadiness more quickly after stressful events. Many also report clearer thinking, kinder self-talk, and a little more space between stimulus and response.

We move at a kind, human pace: short teaching, guided practice, and time for questions or reflection. You'll receive variations for sitting, lying down, or even practicing while walking, so you can adapt each method to your body's needs and your daily routine.

Classes are offered online, with the option to access recordings, so you can revisit practices whenever you need a reset. If you're a caregiver, healthcare worker, or simply someone longing for more peace in the middle of a full life, this is a place to learn tools you can carry into the exam room, the kitchen, or the carpool line.

By the end of each class, our aim is that your nervous system feels a little softer, your mind a little clearer, and you feel more at home in your own life-even if nothing around you has changed yet.
